Process Engineer

Responsibilities

    • Develop process calculations for unit processes, piping losses, and pump head calculations.
    • Create P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), PFD (Process Flow Diagrams), and mass balance calculations.
    • Manage the detailed design of P&IDs and process equipment in the plant.
    • Ensure timely submission of process deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic profiles, equipment sizing, HAZOP study reports, etc.
    • Participate in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies for the overall plant and its systems/sub-systems.
    • Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications.
    • Analyze and review current processes to streamline them for improvement, productivity enhancement, sequence optimization, unit improvement, and troubleshooting at the plant (will be an added advantage).
    • Attend technical meetings with clients, vendors, sub-contractors, and internal project teams.
    • Support software Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and plant-wide commissioning.

Requirements

    • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Chemical) or any related field.
    • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Possess keen knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies and the industry in general.
    • Able to work independently and a multitasker/ able to cope in a fast-paced environment.
